The Setlist

It’s another busy week, lots of live music to look forward to. Kent’s own Marilyn DeFrange is hosting a podcast that airs every month on YouTube. Her interviews with Kent musicians Terry Hynde (Episode 7), Guy Pernetti (Episode 6) and John Stacey (Episode 4) are worth watching.

Hello, all! We’ll start today’s Setlist with Ravenna, which rain or shine will celebrate Balloon A-Fair this weekend. Events will be held all weekend in downtown Ravenna and at the Portage County fairgrounds in Randolph.

Hello, all! The summer music festivals are mostly gone, but there’s still a good bit going on in Portage County. Without further ado, we’ll start in alphabetical order:

The Portage County Randolph Fair is in full swing, so I’m including it in this week’s Setlist. Come on out and enjoy!

I hope you all are getting ready for the 2026-2027 school year. Summer is once again slowly moving to the rearview mirror of 2026.

This week I would like to recognize a band with over 55 years of contributions to the local music scene, the incomparable 15-60-75, aka The Numbers Band.

Good morning, fans of all things music. Here we are rolling into the first week of August already. This week finds me with two nice gigs to play with the local band The Shootouts.

I hope you all weathered the heat and Canadian and smoke of last week. Here is the Setlist for July 22-28.

Ah, that wonderful warm weather that we have all been waiting for is finally here in Northeast Ohio. Along with baseball, cookouts, camping trips, and swimming holes, it brings with it the classic outdoor music season.
