The Portage County Fairgrounds in Randolph will host the second annual DMF-OH Cancer Benefit Truck Show and Truck Pull on Saturday, Sept. 25. The event is a fundraiser for the Denise Marie Flaherty Foundation, Inc. A Randolph man was arrested after shooting someone on Fairground Road and leading multiple law enforcement agencies on a manhunt through his forested and booby trapped property, the Portage County Sheriff’s Office said.
Atwater Township trustees did not conduct any due diligence on the contractor they hired to demolish the Flamingo Motel. If they had, they might have discovered his lengthy court record related to shoddy work and his felony conviction for stealing over $140,000 from Rivers Garage.
