Mantua council member guilty on lesser charge related to meeting outburst
A Mantua village council member whose outburst during a public meeting led to a menacing charge, pleaded guilty April 6 to an amended charge of disorderly conduct.
Little City Grill in Kent shut down abruptly after 10 years
Would-be diners at Kent’s Little City Grill got an unexpected surprise earlier this week. Instead of an opened door, they saw a small sign taped to it that read:
Aurora approves multiple paving and maintenance projects worth over $2 million
Aurora City Council on Monday unanimously approved a contract with Perrin Asphalt for the city’s 2023 road paving program.

Amidst all the clean-up from the storms, it is nice to see the progression of the Brimfield Township Fire Department. The Brimfield Bread Oven has also received a lovely exterior renovation. Inside, it is still the best place to be in Brimfield. The smells, the people, the food…it is divine!
Letter: Solarize Kent’s new city hall
I was very disappointed to find out that Kent’s new city hall will not have solar panels installed as an alternative energy source to help reduce the CO2 greenhouse gas emissions.

Investigation finds Mantua police chief violated department policy
An independent investigator concluded that Mantua Police Chief Joseph Urso violated police department policies by directly supervising an officer with whom he is in a romantic relationship, according to a March 22 report.
