???? Kent Historical Society offers gifts for the local history enthusiasts in your life

Kent Historical Society’s annual holiday sale has begun!

KHS sells over 20 books on a variety of topics including important figures in local history, haunted buildings in the area, and recipes from the city’s Coterie Club. One of the museum’s best sellers is Bruce Dzeda’s Railroad Town: Kent and the Erie Railroad.

Also of special note are Rooted in Kent: 101 Tales from the Tree City and Greetings from Kent, Ohio: A Postcard Portrait of the Tree City, both by the late Roger J. Di Paolo.

KHS will be selling Chas Madonio’s Bars, Bands, and Rock n’ Roll: The Golden Era in Kent, Ohio upon its November release.

Other gift ideas include coffee mugs, historic postcards, and unique blown glass ornaments from Hale Farm and Village (while supplies last!).

KHS members receive 10% off all purchases, making this holiday season the perfect time to join. You can shop in-person and view our exhibits during public hours, which are Friday and Saturday 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. You can also reach out to [email protected] to inquire about mail orders.
