Concert Series: The Bluestones
Performing in Northeast Ohio for over 25 years, the Bluestones are a four piece band who have performed over 1800 shows, including serving as house band for Fat Fish Blue in Cleveland. Enjoy hearing the Bluestones play the finest in classic blues, rock, and country on the Library's second floor balcony. No registration required. All ages are welcome. The Concert Series is generously supported by the Friends of Kent Free Library.

Goodyear Concert Band Holiday Concert
Stan Hywet’s Goodyear Concert Band will present a Holiday Concert at the United Methodist Church of Kent on Sunday December 18 at 4:00 pm. A reception with punch and homemade cookies will follow in Pierson Hall at the church. The concert will feature Christmas favorites and upbeat holiday tunes. A flute ensemble, The Supertonics, will perform midway through the concert. Local band members include Chad Culton, Brenda Lewis, Rhiannon Lewis and Roger Stiller. The director is George Martin.

‘Twas the Storytime Before Christmas
Enjoy a special twist on the classic ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas story and two other holiday books, as well as some singing and a craft afterwards. Children are encouraged to wear their jammies! This storytime can accommodate 24 children.

Craft a Gift: Felt Snowman Ornaments
For children ages 5-10. Each child who attends will be able to craft up to 2 free holiday gifts for loved ones of their choosing. Gift bags will be provided for each craft. Limited to 12 children.
