This has been a very busy time of year!
The Salvation Army had its annual kettle kick-off and dinner at the Elks Club on Nov. 2.
On Nov. 19, Reed Memorial Library in Ravenna held a Mystery Dinner, which was a lot of fun. The mystery was solved and everyone had a great time.
After that, the Auxiliary of University Hospitals Portage Medical Center in Ravenna held its 36th annual Celebration of Lights on Dec. 6. As all of you know, this holds a place close to my heart.
We had a wonderful turnout of about 250 people. This event raised money to help meet our commitment to the hospital for needed equipment and we really appreciate your generosity.
I also attended the Ravenna Community Choir concert on Dec. 3 at the Ravenna Assembly of God. As usual, they were outstanding. They also had special guest Nuance, University of Akron’s premiere all-male a cappella group, which were also outstanding. Hope you were there to enjoy it.
Have a very healthy, blessed Christmas.
