- Wendy DiAlesandro.

Participants in Saturday’s drug march gathered in front of the Portage County courthouse to pray, enjoy refreshments, and hear speakers. Marchers walked from the courthouse to Maple Grove Cemetery to raise awareness about the opioid epidemic, which continues to claim lives at an alarming rate. The event was sponsored by C.A.R.E., Children Always Resisting Enemies, with support from the United Church of Jesus Christ Missionaries & Outreach Ministries’ Midnight Cry Team.
