- Jackie Loreta-Rinearson

Garrettsville is never without fun events. St. Patrick’s Day will again be celebrated with the Green Luck of the Irish throughout town: petting zoo, and horse and wagon rides on the corner of Main and Center from 4 to 7 p.m., weather permitting. Each restaurant will offer great Irish food, all available on Monday, March 17. There will also be face painting at the Mill.

The Garage Sale Weekend is being held May 16 through 18. The Sip n Shop on Main is being held from noon to 6 p.m. July 26 down Main Street. This summer, there will be four Car Cruises – May 24, June 21, July 19 and Aug. 9, the latter is the Car Cruise and Peach Social. Sept. 20 will be the Fall Festival. Small Business Saturday, along with the Clock Tower Lighting and a visit from Santa Claus, will all be held on Saturday, Nov. 29.
