Around Garrettsville: Chamber of commerce announces 2025 event calendar

The Garrettsville Chamber of Commerce announced its annual activities for the coming year 2025.

Upcoming events include Garage Sale Weekend on May 16 – May 18. There will be 4 Car Cruises this year May 24, June 21, July 19 and Aug 9 is the Car Cruise and Peach Social. Sept. 20 will be the Fall Festival. Small Business Saturday is being held on Nov. 29 and the Clock Tower Lighting and Santa Claus will be held on Nov. 29 also.


St. Ambrose is hosting its St. Patrick’s Day Reverse Raffle on March 15 at Sugar Bush Golf Club, the doors open at 6 p.m. There will be a Grand Prize of $1,000 with every 20 draws receiving a prize. The cost is $100 per ticket and includes one number and up to two dinners. Must be present for dinner, (no take out). Buy backs will be sold for $20. Dinner, DJ, 50/50, Side Boards, Basket Raffle, and cash bar. Proceeds to benefit the St. Ambrose maintenance fund (new Rectory roof). Only 100 tickets to be sold. Garrettsville Curtains up Theatre is proud to announce our Sip-N-Shop on Main set for noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, July 26 (fourth Saturday in July).

The proceeds of this event will go to the Curtains up Theatre and a portion of the profits will again be put into the beautification fund of Garrettsville held by Chamber.

Artisan vendors need to apply by July 5. Contact Jackie Rinearson at [email protected] with any questions.

Set-Up/Fee: Each artisan will be allotted a booth with 10 feet of frontage for $40. Any additional frontage will be $5 per foot. Any tables, chairs, coolers, or tents are the sole responsibility of the artesian. Set-up time is Saturday, July 26 between the hours of 9 to 11:45 a.m.

The road will not be closed until 9 a.m. so vendors can’t come early to set up. Set up shall be completed by noon. All artisan booths will remain in place until 6 p.m. unless released by event coordinators Sherri Collins or Jackie Rinearson.

Each artisan is responsible for any sales tax, vendor licensure or labeling of it is within state/federal guidelines and laws.

The St. Ambrose Knights of Columbus will be sponsoring their Easter Egg Hunt and Breakfast on April 5 this year. Watch for more details to come. The church is located at 10692 Freedom St., Garrettsville.
