Windham Police Chief Eric Breiding commended Hope Town Recovery Housing for positive interactions and for the community involvement of its management and residents in a letter to Hope Town owner Ted St. John.
Hope Town Recovery Housing is a new residential recovery community for substance abuse in Windham Village. The nonprofit opened in June this year and offers affordable housing and recovery services, using a social, peer-to-peer model to promote long-term recovery.
The letter was posted to the Hope Town Facebook page. “Today, and this letter from our police Chief, Eric Breiding was just another example of how humility and respect can smash stigma and change lives!” the post said.
