Walls Elementary Race for Education was a hit this year

The annual Race for Education fundraiser helps the Walls School Association sponsor field trips, equipment for recreation and arts, software subscriptions and more. This year’s fundraiser has already surpassed last year’s efforts.
Students helped the initiative by seeking sponsors and participating in the “race,” which took place on the school’s campus. Students run, jog or walk as long as they can for one hour.
The Kent Rotary Foundation presented the Walls School Association with a grant check for over $2,500.
Representatives from the group say the fundraiser will likely meet its goal of raising $8,000 by the end of the school year. You can learn more and contribute here.
