The Setlist with Mike D for July 8, 2026

I hope you all had a nice 4th of July weekend, stayed cool, and were some of the lucky ones whose power remained uninterrupted. It was a scorcher at the Kent Heritage Fest, 94 degrees at show time. We still had a nice crowd, and with the help of some fans (physical ones…) we were able to play a nice show for the folks who braved the heat to hear us.

This week, I have the unique opportunity to play steel guitar with the opening act, The Shootouts, for the KauligCompanies Championship’s Bailey Zimmerman show, Friday, July 10 at Firestone Country Club. Tickets are limited to 3500 for this special show. They’re available at baileyzimmerman.ticketsauce.com. It should be an epic performance of this up and coming country music star, hope to see you there.

Here in Portage County, this week has some interesting events happening, hope you can make it out to enjoy and support some of our local musicians.
