Ravenna schools set Spring Break schedule

The Ravenna Board of Education met in a brief session Monday, addressing key personnel issues.

The board approved a one-year contract for Susan Huth, who will serve the district as Director of Teaching and Learning from Aug. 1, 2021, until July 31, 2022.

Transportation Director Jeanie Knapp will retire effective July 31, 2021.

The district’s Spring Break will be from March 29 to April 2, with students returning to school on April 5.

Unanimous approval was also provided for entering into a service agreement with Southeast Local Schools for the services of an ELL tutor, the establishment of an Indoor Track and Field Club at the high school, and the purchase of a new van for the transportation of special education students.
