Russell Lee “Beastie” Martin
Russell Lee “Beastie” Martin (59), passed away unexpectedly May 26, 2026 in Ravenna, Ohio. He was born on August 8, 1966 to Robert and Gwen (Moore) Martin.
After graduating from Twinsburg (class of 1984), he began working for T-Jay’s Service in Bedford. Before passing, Russ was celebrating 42 years of service as a collision frame tech. He enjoyed building the biggest fires, spending time at the family lake property, finding the best deals at yard sales, collecting anything that “caught his eye”. He loved riding his motorcycle and spending time with family and friends.
Russ is survived by his wife of 30 years, Doris, children Gwendolyn, Adam (Taylor), Sarah (Tim), Lucas (Kaley), grandchildren Katie Kate and William, his mom Sandra, sister Lori, Aunt Carol, Uncle Jack, Mother in-law Phyllis, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and siblings Bobby, Sue and Timmy.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2026 from 2-4pm at the Masonic Temple in Ravenna (4785 Washington Ave.) All are welcome to join us to share stories and remember the many adventures of the one and only: “Beastie."
