Phyllis Patricia Counts
Phyllis Patricia Counts, age 85, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2022. She was a graduate of Ridgewood High School in Ridgewood, New Jersey. She went on to earn her RN degree at East Orange General Hospital School of Nursing in 1958. She loved her nursing school “sisters” and stayed close to them her entire life. She will be greatly missed by Nancy Sincock and her surviving class of 1958.
Patricia loved singing from a very early age. She sang in many choirs and was often hired to sing professionally as well. She also loved the ocean and walks on the beach.
Patricia is survived by her daughter’s Holly Patricia Bousquet (Kenneth) of Katy, Texas, Heather Joy Christensen (Kenneth) of Rootstown, Ohio and Nancy Elizabeth Bridwell of Orlando, Florida. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren: Karen, Kimberly, Krystal, Anthony and Justin and her beloved great grandchildren: Reagan, Reece and Kailey.Cremation has taken place and the family will have a private Memorial service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to American Society of Diabetes American Diabetes Association | Research, Education, Advocacy or ASPCA ASPCA | American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals would be appreciated.
