Deloris Mary Hudson
Deloris Mary Hudson, age 88 of Ravenna passed away December 23, 2022. She is survived by her children Cathy Scibiur, Lenny Hudson, Kreg Hudson, and Julie Hudson-Bowley along with 14 Grandchildren, and 8 Great Grandchildren.
Dee grew up in Cadillac Michigan with her parents Lester & Beatrice Largent, half brother Lester, and twin sister Lois. While attending Hiram College she met and married James E. Hudson. They were married 60 years and lived in Ravenna.
Dee lived her life to the fullest raising her family and loving God,. She loved all kinds of crafts, gardening, china painting, playing the piano, sewing, and practicing her gift of hospitality. Her generosity spilled beyond her family into God’s church and the local community.
She was known by those in Jr. Thur. Literary Club, Artist Guild, 4-H as an advisor & treasurer, various Bible studies, and the Cocoon Makers.
Her greatest mission and joy in life was to increase God’s kingdom.
Please celebrate Deloris’s heavenly welcome at Maplewood Christian Church in Ravenna on January 21, 2023. The celebration of life services starts at 11 a.m. followed by a time of fellowship.
