Helen Mileski (nee Woloshuk)
Helen Mileski (nee Woloshuk), age 93, of Aurora, OH, formerly of Streetsboro, OH, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2025. She was born December 18, 1931 in Shadyside, OH to John and Mary (nee Ledney) Woloshuk. She attended West Liberty College and Kent State University, and instilled the value of education on her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and reading, especially newspapers and Agatha Christie mysteries. She loved bright colors and had a spitfire, fun-loving personality. She was a wonderful and fun mother who had an adventurous streak that her children had the pleasure of growing up with. She will be dearly missed by those whose lives she touched.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eddie E. Mileski; her parents; and her brothers Nick, John, and Mike Woloshuk.
Helen is survived by her daughter Maryanna Mileski of Aurora; her son Steve (Charlene) Mileski of Hudson; grandsons Matthew and Michael; bonus son Tim Humphries; bonus daughter Erin Mandalfino; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends.
Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held. In honor of Helen’s lifelong love of reading, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Portage County District Library: www.portagelibrary.org/support-the-library-13213.
