Evangeline (Eva) Grace Bergey, 17, of Kent passed away Monday, August 17, 2026 at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. She was born March 5, 2009 in Akron, Ohio to Caleb and Lianne (Evanov) Bergey. Eva was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church in Kent. Survivors include her mother Lianne Bergey (Michael Clifton), father Caleb (Victoria) Bergey, siblings Jayde Bergey, Lyla Clifton, Silas Bergey and Isaac Bergey, grandparents Lori (Wendy) Mirkin-McGee, Rhanda (Eric) Carlson, Richard (Jenifer) Bergey and Mike Evanov and many great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins, and her wonderful boyfriend Grayson Donohue. Eva was a shining light to all who knew her. Her smile lit up every room she entered. She was kind, loving, caring, and compassionate. She was an amazing big sister to all of her younger siblings. She was a friend to all animals, especially her beloved cat Yoshi and her dog Milo. Eva was a talented artist who loved to draw, color, and paint. She was an avid crafter as well and spent many hours working on crafts with her mom. Eva was very close with both of her grandmothers, whom she called Mimi. Eva was happiest at home chilling in her room playing music on her phone or when she was out with her friends having fun. She loved making videos with Jayde and her cousin Emma. She loved life and had so many dreams for the future. Eva was a precious angel, and her family deeply grieves her loss. Calling hours will be from 11 AM until time of funeral service at 1 PM Saturday, August 22, 2026 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Reverend Kristina Church will officiate. Nancy Lou Bishop, age 87 of Edinburg, gained her Angel Wings on August 18, 2026, at her home. She was born on April 23, 1939, in Creston, Ohio.
