Portage County Gardeners auction a success

- Natalie Wolford ,

The Flower and Art Show on Tuesday went off without a hitch. The gardeners displayed garden and flower themed paintings and photos along with floral arrangements.

Potted flowers and cacti were donated for a silent auction and door prizes included potted day lilies donated by member Marge Conroy, whose display is shown above.

The group hosts fundraising events throughout the year to support the Portage County Gardeners Center at 5154 state Route 44 in Ravenna.
