Venue Spotlight

The Kave open mic was started by Michael Wilsterman (who unfortunately is no longer with us) and the stage at Kave is named after him. Michael’s love of music and getting the younger generation involved has been an inspiration to us all. David Gerrard has also been a large part of our success by help mentoring the kids and getting them on stage and overcoming their fears. David has been a part of the open mic since the beginning.

Please join our Facebook group, Portage/Summit County Area Open Mics for all the upcoming open
