Tavern 1888 was started by Sandy Knotek because her dad always wanted a bar and restaurant and after 6 years, Tavern 1888 is still growing. Knotek loves being part of the Ravenna community and helping to build this downtown community. Knotek says the funny thing about her building is when it was built 1888 was stamped on side of building. “It’s like being home,” she said. The Tavern 1888 open mic is every other Monday. They also host a car show on Tuesdays, karaoke on Thursdays, and some live music on Saturdays.
