Our December Main Street Ravenna Youth Community Star of the Month Award goes to Skylar Livengood!

“Skylar is a senior at RHS and served as the Football Team Manager for the 2022 season. Each week should would be responsible for passing out snacks to the team during study tables and other team activities, along with getting the game jerseys and warm ups passed out to the team. She also helped organize the equipment room, and on Friday nights she would serve as the water girl. Skylar is a very dedicated, kind and hard working young lady who took pride in helping the football program any way she could. The coaching staff and team are very thankful for all of her help!” – Coach Callihan

Around Ravenna: Warm up with these community events coming up this month

- by Angie Reedy. - by The 39th annual Celebration of Lights was held in December at the University Hospitals Portage Medical Center in Ravenna, hosted by the hospital’s Auxiliary. It was a successful evening and the committee wants to thank everyone who came, donated money or helped in any way for their participation, and especially Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Homes for its sponsorship.
