Main Street Kent’s annual Art & Wine Festival is set for 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. June 1. The event features more than 50 artists, 13 Ohio wineries, eight live music performances and many food trucks. Admission to the downtown fest is free, and wine tasting tickets will be available for sale. Valid IDs are required.
On stage at the Hometown Bank Plaza are Ray Flanagan (11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.), Triplets of Belleville (1-3 p.m.), The Baker’s Basement (3:30-5:30 p.m.) and Cory Grinder & the Playboy Scouts (6-8 p.m.).
Playing at the Brewhouse patio on North Water Street are Frederico Tribuzzo plays Smooth n Blue (11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.), The Legendary Wallace Coleman (1-3 p.m.), The Marilyn DeFrange Band (3:30-5:30 p.m.) and City of Invention (6-8 p.m.).
Featured wineries are: Cherry Road Winery, CLE Urban Winery, Feisty Brood Meadery, Ferrante Winery, It’s Your Winery, Lincoln Way Vineyards, Lost Trail Winery, McAlpine Meadery, Nauti Vine Winery, Troutman Vineyards, West Main St Winery, Winery at Versailles and Winery at Wolf Creek.
Artisans will offer handcrafted items, paintings, photographs, jewelry, ceramics, glass and more. Brook’s Homestyle BBQ, Daisy Pops, Erie Street Kitchen, GRAZERS, Mamacita’s, Popped!, Roll Call Burgers & Fries and The Eccentric Panda will all have food trucks on site, and local eateries will welcome all guests.
