Residents who typically vote at the Kentway Retirement Center will have to vote at the Kent United Church of Christ, at least for the Aug. 8 special election.
The change of venue is due to construction at Kentway’s parking lot, said Faith Lyon, director of the Portage County Board of Elections.
Residents have had to vote at Kent UCC before, particularly when Covid restrictions were in place, she said. The church is at 1400 E. Main St. Voting booths will be located in the choir room.
No other polling locations in the county have been changed.
