Kent Area Chamber of Commerce will honor local businesses and individuals Nov. 16

The Kent Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual dinner and awards ceremony from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Nov. 16 at the Kent State University Hotel and Conference Center, 215 S. Depeyster St.

Economic Development Award honorees are ACS Industries, Each+Every and Ron-Al Mold & Machine. Receiving Kent Citizen awards are Stanley Boykin, Garret Ferrara, the Kent Lions Club and Lesley Sickle.

Bell Tower Brewing will receive KACC’s Immy award, Grazers restaurant owners Stacey Lasher and Carl Bauer will be celebrated as small business persons of the year and the late Michael Finley will be honored posthumously with the W.W. Reed Kent Medal for Public Service.

The Davey Tree Expert Co. will sponsor the evening’s entertainment by Gaetano’s Jazz Trio.
