Kent Area Chamber of Commerce announces this year’s Tree City Award winners

The Tree City Annual Dinner and Awards Ceremony is hosted by the City of Kent and the Kent Area Chamber of Commerce. It will be returning this year at 6 p.m. Nov. 10 after a two-year hiatus.

The evening will feature formal dinner and cocktails, along with entertainment from Gaetano’s Jazz Trio and a silent auction to benefit the KACC Dan Smith Memorial Scholarship Fund.

The event is open to the public and tickets are available for purchase here.

The awardees are as follows:

City of Kent economic development awards: Mike’s Place, Quality IP and The River Merchant

City of Kent Citizen Awards: Dr. Ernest Mastroianni, Mike Pritt, Doria Daniels and Kent Health Commissioner Joan Seidel

KACC IMMY award for economic growth: The Kent Stage

KACC Small Business Person of the Year: Rebekah Wright-Kulis of Wright Heating & Cooling

KACC’s W.W. Reed Kent Medal for Public Service: Henry and Sandra Halem
