Jack Kohl Realty adds two new partners to its leadership team

- Staff Report ,

A 70-year staple of Portage County real estate is adding two new owners to the team, with Ron Lewis and Ryan Poland joining Jack Kohl at the helm of Jack Kohl Realty, LLC.

The change adds two early career Realtors to the agency that has been owned by Jack Kohl Jr. since he purchased it from his father, Jack Kohl Sr., in 1987. Kohl Sr. founded the agency in 1954.

Lewis and Poland are both lifelong residents of Portage County.

“They all feel strongly that an independent hometown agency is the most successful formula for their clients and the community,” the company said in a statement. “All three partners share the same goals to maintain the integrity of an independent brokerage firm.”

Poland has been with the agency for nearly 10 years, selling $44 million in real estate since 2014. He graduated from Ravenna High School and Kent State and lives in Ravenna.

Lewis has been in real estate for seven years, both as a partner with Assure Realty and for his own brokerage firm. Lewis has sold over 200 properties in seven years. Lewis graduated from Rootstown High School and Malone College.

The way it smelled, the way the adults chatted while you and the other kids laughed in front of a TV playing colorful cartoons. Most importantly, do you remember the food? I remember, and Mandy Yannucci, co-owner of Maddalena’s in Kent, remembers, too.
