The Portager is giving student groups, nonprofits and community organizations the opportunity to raise money while supporting local news coverage in their communities.
The program is simple: For every Portage County resident you sign up for The Portager’s newsletter, we will give $1.50 to your organization.
Because it’s free for anyone to sign up to receive The Portager, all you need to collect is their name, email address and the town they live in.

- If your application is accepted, we will give you some information about The Portager to share with your contacts and a spreadsheet to enter the signups.
- We’ll verify the email addresses and send you a check!
