Goodyear will host a Santa Claus Express toy drive in Suffield Dec. 1-3

Want to spread some holiday cheer and get up close and personal with a Goodyear blimp at the same time?

In partnership with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, Goodyear Tire & Rubber will hold its annual Santa Claus Express holiday toy drive from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Dec. 1-3 at the Wingfoot Lake blimp hangar, 841 Wingfoot Lake Road in Suffield.

Santa will be on hand, and the hangar will sport holiday decorations and music.

The event is free and open to the public. Attendees are asked to provide a new, unwrapped toy which will be distributed to area children in need. All participants must remain in their cars.
