March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month and University Hospitals Portage Medical Center is hosting a free education event. Come and learn from the experts at UH about colon cancer and how to prevent it. The program will be presented by Gastroenterologist, Dr. Zachary Kawasnicka. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. Presentation from Noon - 1 p.m. This event is FREE, but space is limited. To register, call 330-297-2576.

Get a hop on celebrating Easter with Trinity Lutheran's first Egg Hop, which is like Trunk-or-Treat but for an Easter Egg Hunt, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in our parking lot (or inside our hall if the weather is bad). This event is open to the community and will include lots of filled Easter eggs, a craft table with projects, and fun!
Hiram Christian Church hosts potlucks the first Sunday of the month at noon. This is an event for friends and members of the community to gather and get to know one another. Whether you are from the village, township, Hiram College, or just passing through, you are welcome. Bring a dish to share if you'd like or just bring yourself. There will be enough.
