Justine Trivelli celebrated her 100th birthday! A reception was held at Tobin Hall after the 4 p.m. Mass at Immaculate Conception Church in Ravenna. When walking into the hall, all tables had flower arrangements and, of course, a huge cake ready to be served.

I saw so many friends, forgive me if I forgot someone. It was like an intimate gathering of close friends and relatives, including son Bill and daughter Ann Marie, and nephews Vic and Michael Marozzi.
Jill Piccione was seated at our table with Jeanne Tondiglia, Don and Mary Jo Hanna, and cousin Julie Piccione Beach. Julie told me Justine’s close friends have been taking her to lunch for the past 10 years: Janice Savako, and Julie, Tami and Lorie Marozzi. Janice Savako, Lorie Marozzi and Karen Cipriano helped serve cake to the guests.

Father William Kraynak said the blessing, and Deacon Chris Germak took photos. Semi-retired Sam Cipriano was there along with Mark and Debbie Gilly, Tulsa Croop, Anthony Drago, Liz Cariglio, JoAnn Cicci, Lucille DeLuca, Phil and Sandy Rogers, and many more. It was a great reception and all wanted to honor a lovely lady.

Immaculate Conception Church will resume spaghetti dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21 at the parish hall at 251 W. Spruce Ave. in Ravenna. Dinners include salad, spaghetti, meatballs and dessert.
Cost is $12 for adults and $5 for children. You can also order extra meatballs at $1 each. Dinners are open to the public. See you there!
