The Sip n' Shop on Main is coming together nicely. With more than 40 artisans and four wineries, the street is about full. Main Street in Garrettsville will play host to a wine tasting and artisan festival from 2 to 7 p.m. Saturday, July 25.
This year, we have Los Venado’s from Mantua to spice up our taste buds and add to the cuisine of the Main Street restaurants. The profits from The Sip and Shop will benefit the Garrettsville Curtains up Theatre and a portion of the funds are being added to the Beautification Fund, which is responsible for the fall decorations and most of the Christmas décor. The Beautification Fund is held separately by the Chamber of Commerce. This year, the Sip n Shop committee is opening the venue to local book authors to autograph and sell their books. Again, artisan demonstrations will be exhibited on the hour.
Many local businesses are lining up to sponsor this year’s event: Facets Salon and Day Spa is the head sponsor, with Matt Ryser sponsoring the demo tent. Jeff Rinearson Health Insurance and Kelly Zander, Realtor are additional sponsors. Multiple sponsors are in the process of registering.
