Around Garrettsville: Audition for ‘Phantom’ or dress up as one this Halloween

The Garrettsville is holding auditions for “Phantom of the Opera” (non-musical) at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 11 and 13 at the James A. Garfield Iva Walker Auditorium, 10233 S.R. 88, Garrettsville. The show dates are Jan. 16, 17, 18, 23 and 24.
Men and women ages 16 and older are needed, no monologue required; parts will be read from the script.

The Friends of the Garrettsville Library held their book sale Oct. 9, 10 and 11.
St. Ambrose Church (10692 Freedom St., Garrettsville) still hosts Bingo on the first and third Tuesday of each month. You must be 18 or over to play. Doors open at 5:45 p.m. with the early bird starting at 6:45 p.m.
