Around Edinburg: Support programs at Southeast Schools

The Southeast Athletic Boosters invite everyone to Dine to Donate at Gionino’s Pizzeria on Tuesday, Jan. 27. The boosters will receive 15% of all sales made between 4 and 9 p.m. that day. Orders have to be placed at the Edinburg Gionino’s at 6982 Tallmadge Rd. Call in your order to 330-325-1040 and make sure to mention the Southeast Athletic Boosters.


The Edinburg Ohio Historical Society’s next monthly meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11 at Edinburg Town Hall.


The Edinburg United Church will be hosting a Quarter Auction on Saturday, Feb. 14. Doors open at 10 a.m., with the auction starting at 11 a.m. The first paddle is $5, with additional paddles costing $3 each. An all-in paddle is available for 50 participants only, which can be prepurchased by calling or texting Joann at 330-283-7645. Questions about the auction itself can be sent to Joann as well, or email the church at EdinburgChurch@gmail.com. You can bring your own quarters or purchase them there. Food and a 50/50 raffle will also be for sale that day. The Edinburg United Church is located at 4081 Rock Spring Rd.


Music Boosters for Southeast Pirates will hold a Night at the Races fundraiser at 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28 at the Immaculate Conception Parish, located at 409 W. Main St. in Ravenna. Cost of admission is $30 per person, or $35 to include a horse that you are able to name. Admission cost also includes dinner and one drink ticket. Raffles and prizes will also be available that evening.
