Around Edinburg: Don't miss baseball and softball signup

Music Boosters for Southeast Pirates will be holding a Night at the Races fundraiser at 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, to be held at the Immaculate Conception Parish at 409 W. Main St., Ravenna. The cost of admission is $30 per person or $35 to include a horse that you are able to name. Admission cost also includes dinner and one drink ticket. Raffles and prizes will also be available that evening.

There will be a Creating Memory Snapshots Workshop on March 14 and Regina Brett, Ravenna native, will also be appearing there on March 21. Both events are free to attend, but please register in advance on the website listed above.

A Cookbook Club was also started there recently. Stop in the shop and buy "Half Baked Harvest: Quick & Cozy" to join the club. Cook from it for a few months and then join in the potluck dinner on May 20 with one or two of your favorite recipes from the book prepared to share with others. Books a Go Go is located at 220 W.
