Patricia A. Schubert

Patricia A. Schubert died on 30 August 2022 in a memory ward in Cincinnati surrounded by family members. She was 89 years old, and is survived by her three children, seven grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. Pat and husband James R. Schubert moved to Kent in 1959 and started their family there. They lived on Willow Street until 1965, then moved to Twin Lakes. Jim Schubert passed in 2005, and Pat stayed in the house on East Twin until 2017. They were both members of the Kent United Church of Christ and were ardent supporters of KSU. Pat volunteered with Meals on Wheels, hospice, and the clothing center in the Kent area. She had been a member of Kent Coterie, and the Elm Garden Club. Pat attended Colby College and then became a Registered Nurse at Cornell University in New York. Her ashes are to be interred in Standing Rock Cemetery next to her husband’s.
