The Mental Health & Recovery Board of Portage County received $1,365,871 to invest in local treatment, prevention and recovery support to advance ongoing efforts to fight substance abuse and prevent overdose deaths.
These funds are part of the State Opioid and Stimulant Response (SOS) grant funds awarded throughout Ohio. These SOS 4.0 grants were received by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services through the federal Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration to support local organizations that offer prevention, harm reduction, treatment and long-term recovery services for Ohioans battling addiction.
