Downtown Kent hosted the 30th annual Heritage Fest on July 5. The festival welcomed all ages with activities like hair tinseling, early morning yoga, local vendor booths, food trucks and two stages showcasing local bands.

Some shops represented along East Erie Street included The Light In Kent, Akron Henna Art, Evelyn Dickerson Hair Design, BoHo Heartland, and more.

Food vendors at the festival include Daisy Pops, Grazers, Raks BBQ, Southern Comfort Kitchen and many more. At the far end of the festival, participants enjoyed a car show. At dusk, fireworks lit up the sky, bringing an end to this fun-packed day.
