Garrettsville Summerfest to be held this weekend

Garrettsville is gearing up for Summerfest 2026, a weekend of live music and other entertainment.

The downtown festival will kick off at 6:30 p.m. June 26 with the presentation of Grand Marshall Mike Moser and Hallie Cebulla singing the national anthem. The band Bad Seed will take the main stage at 7 p.m., followed at 9 p.m. by Moving in Stereo, a Cars tribute band.

Playing at the Hopper Construction West Stage on June 26 are:

  • 7 p.m. VESHNIR
  • 9 p.m. Painstaken, playing hard rock from the 90s and 2000s

The main stage lineup for June 27 is:

  • 12 p.m. Take 2 Band, playing hits from the 60s, 70s and 80s
  • 1:30 p.m. Ice cream eating contest open to ages 14 and under
  • 2 p.m. Jungle Terry’s live animal show
  • 3:30 p.m. Twisted Toyz, playing classic rock
  • 5:15 p.m. Hot wing eating contest, with cash prize
  • 6 p.m. Hamburger eating contest, with cash prize
  • 6:30 p.m. Dexter, playing acoustic 90s hits
  • 9 p.m. Disco Express, playing dance and disco tunes
  • 10 p.m. Fireworks show sponsored by Sarchione Chevrolet in Garrettsville

Appearing at the Hopper Construction West Stage on June 27 after a 10 a.m. Community Worship Service led by First Baptist Church are:

  • 1:30 p.m. The Garretones, belting out big band music
  • 4 p.m. 8th Count Dance Center dance performance
  • 5 p.m. Digital City karaoke with DJ Tony
  • 8 p.m. Alice Sin Ohio, an Alice in Chains tribute band

Sunday’s main stage acts are:

  • 2 p.m. Ace Molar, featuring Fox 8’s Todd Meany playing rock and dance hits
  • 4 p.m. Hypnosis show
  • 5:30 p.m. Thrill of the Ville, a small mixed ensemble
  • 7 p.m. Summerfest Talent Show
  • 9 p.m. Summerfest Gun Raffle and 50/50 Drawing

Sunday is also designated as Ellerhorst-Russell Kid’s Day, with the Summerfest Grand Parade kicking off at 12:30 p.m., a magic show at the main stage at 1:30 p.m., a performance by the Walnut Hills Cloggers at 1:45 p.m., Jungle Terry’s live animal show on the West Stage at 3 p.m., Flowers the Clown making and distributing free balloon animals in the midway area at 3:30 p.m. and an interactive princess and superheroes show at 4 p.m. at the West Stage.

Tickets for the gun raffle are $10 each and may be purchased at Sarchione Garrettsville, SkyLane Bowling and BlackBoar Armory. The drawing will be held at 9 p.m. June 28. The winner need not be present. Purchases are limited to those 21 or older, and the winner must have an ATF form 4473. Gun raffle sponsors are Sarchione Garrettsville and BlackBoar Armory.

Summerfest 2026 T-shirts will also be available at the festival information booth. Cost is $12 for sizes small to XL and $15 for sizes 2XL and over.
