Historic Walking Tour: Ravenna 100 Years Ago

Reed Memorial Library 167 E Main Street, Ravenna

During this walk we will look at historic photos and learn what life was like in Ravenna in the early 20th century. This walk is approximately 1 mile, and will last about 1 hour. Kevin Gray, Vice President of the Portage County Historical Society, will lead the tour. Tours are weather dependent. Please dress accordingly and wear comfortable walking shoes. We'll meet at the front of the library near the Main Street entrance. Limited to 20 participants.

Concert Series: R&D Duo

Richard “Poppo” Weiner and Doug Bender are a guitar and bass combo who formed the R&D Duo in 2017. They have played at a variety of venues in Northeast Ohio, including the Kent Blues Fest. Enjoy listening to the R&D Duo play traditional and popular American acoustic blues on the Library’s second floor balcony. All ages are welcome. No registration required. The Concert Series is generously supported by the Friends of Kent Free Library.
