Monday, January 23, United Methodist Church, 1435 East Main Street, Kent OH. Members’ dinner, $14 each, at 6:30 pm; reserve with your caller the Friday before. The speaker/program is at 7:30pm and is free and open to the public. The speaker for January will be Beth Whipple from the Master Gardeners program, on the spotted lanternfly, an invasive pest that uses Ailanthus altissima, the Tree of Heaven, for its host.
