Each first Tuesday of the month, explore activities relating to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEAM)! In January, try out virtual reality headsets to see how VR allows you to explore your world. Discover the solar system, take a ride through the blood stream, visit the pyramids, and tour Jurassic Park, all from your seat in the library. Direction Home Akron Canton Area Agency on Aging & Disabilities will be hosting a demo of their Bingocize program. Bingocize is the combination of bingo and fall prevention exercises. Registration is required.  Register on the Library Events page at www.kentfreelibrary.org.

Winter weather got you down? Join us for a night of crafting where we will make unique miniature book earrings. This craft will require dexterity and will use needle and thread. Supplies will be provided. Limited to 10 participants.

The in-person breakfast will start at 9 a.m. and official Zoom program will begin at 10 a.m. This year's theme is "This is Power" the community coming together. Speaker: Pastor Patricia Dennison is Ravenna Avenue Church of God's Senior Pastor. Dennison sits on the Ravenna School Board. She sees her role on the board as an opportunity to be a part of the changes in the community.
