Suffield
Suffield Township’s website, suffieldtownshipohio.com, is in the process of a reboot. The township is streamlining its services that will allow residents to go to the website and download a form if, for example, they need a zoning permit. Residents will be able to print the permit right off the website.
“That way,” township Chair Jeff Eldreth said, “you’ll be able to go to the building inspector knowing what you need instead of having to go to the office, sit down with the zoning inspector, get your stuff, fill it out and then go back. We’ll have more information on the website to try to streamline complaints, too, stuff like that. For example, for people who complain about the roads, their message will automatically go to our road supervisor; if somebody complains about zoning, it will go to our zoning guy. We’re just trying to clean it up.”
Suffield’s annual Cruise-In on June 29 at Town Hall had a tremendous showing. There were several food trucks and music, too.
“Everybody had a great time,” Eldreth said. “We had more than 300 cars and probably 800-1,000 people there.”
