“Kindness is like snow. It beautifies everything it covers.” — Kahlil Gibson
Local youth participate in Wreaths Across America ceremony
On Dec. 13, more than 40 students and many community members braved the frigid temperatures to honor the veterans buried in Hillside Cemetery. Students placed a wreath on the graves of each veteran.

Randolph Township Trustee Sue White said last year that she would love to see Christmas carolers in the Randolph gazebo. This year, Sue will be getting her Christmas wish.
At 3 p.m. Dec. 20, there will be Christmas caroling in the Randolph gazebo, located at the corner of state Route 44 and Waterloo Road. Professional musicians Mark and Jody Roliff will be directing this event.
As a township trustee over the years, Sue has brightened the lives of many in this community; therefore, please consider joining these carolers to make Sue’s Christmas even more joyous.

"There are three stages of man: He believes in Santa Claus, he does not believe in Santa Claus, he is Santa Claus!" – Bob Phillips
With his quick wit and white beard, my husband, Newt, is definitely in the third stage of man. Two years ago, when we were in North Pole, Alaska, he was offered a job as Santa by Santa! I do believe in the magic and miracles of this extraordinary season, and my Christmas wish is we all become even more united in kindness, compassion and joy!
Happy Holidays!
