Get ready to celebrate with our county’s greatest show! The 168th Portage County Fair (Aug. 25-30) will be bigger than ever partly due to an increase of 4-H youth who are participating.
Seniors and veterans are free on Aug. 29 and on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday admission is $5 before 3 p.m. Please consider bringing canned goods, dry cereal or other non-perishables to the fair to support our local RSA Foodshelf.
Congratulations to Dakota Ashley for being the Reserve Champion of the Portage County Fairs Fashion Review for her skirt making skills. Dakota, age 13, has been sewing for less than a year and this was her first 4-H sewing exhibit. You can view Dakota’s winning skirt in Ray Beech Hall at the Fair.
The RSA Foodshelf is accepting new clients who live in Randolph, Suffield or Atwater Township. Those who are eligible can now visit the RSA Foodshelf every 15 days. Call 330-628-1801 to make an appointment.
