Donald R. Philpott
Don Philpott, 64, passed away on October 26th, 2023.
Born in Akron, he grew up in Brimfield, and lived in Suffield for much of his adult life. Don graduated from Kent State University with a B.S. Music degree. He was proficient with many instruments including guitar, drums and piano. Don also enjoyed bike riding and more recently fly-fishing. He worked at Woodsy’s Music in Kent for over 35 years as an instrument technician.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, Donald L. and Patricia J. (Taubenheim) Philpott. He is survived by his sister, Donna (Craig) Hartline, and niece, Teresa Hartline.
