Timothy J. “Tim” Hornsby

Timothy J. “Tim” Hornsby, age 58, went home to heaven on April 22, 2024.

Tim was a graduate of Ravenna High School, was born in Akron, Ohio and lived in Ravenna all of his life. He worked as an Environmental Sevice specialist at UH Portage Medical Center (Robinson) for 34 years. He enjoyed bowling, working with his twin brother at UH and their Lawn Service Business, as well as spending time with his family and friends.

Tim is survived by his loving wife, Virginia C. Hornsby, brothers Ronald J. Jr (Janet) Hornsby, David P. Hornsby, and twin brother Tom C. (Shirley) Hornsby, a sister Janice (Scott) Swan, sister-in-law Ellen Cook (Artie Robbins), and brother in law David Vaughn, nephews Jared Hornsby, Drake Dewey, Nate Swan and Kevin Robbins, nieces Jenna and Sammie Hornsby, Anna Swan, and Courtney Robbins, and two great nieces, as well as a close knit family of aunts, uncles and cousins. Tim was preceded in death by his father Ronald J. Hornsby Sr., mother Mary Kay and brother Ted A. Hornsby.

Family and Friends may come to a Celebration of Life on May 11th, 2024 at the Ravenna
Eagles Club at 812 Cleveland Rd. Ravenna, Ohio 44266 at 2pm.
