Ruth E. Biltz

Ruth E. Biltz, age 81, of Atwater, passed away on June 18, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born November 16, 1942, in Hiram, Ohio to Clarence and Wanda Mae (Faulkner) Krueger. Ruth graduated from Hiram High School and married her husband of over 60 years, Frank. Ruth spent almost 30 years working at Robinson Memorial Hospital in a secretarial role and was known for her cookie baking skills. She also enjoyed quilting, being active in the Lions Club of Limaville, and attending local yard sales. Ruth took great joy in taking care of her family, as well as her extended family, whenever there was a time of need.
Ruth is preceded in death by her siblings Evelyn Martz, Frances Dietz, and Charles Krueger. She is survived by her husband Frank; children Fred (Amie) Biltz, Jean (Jim) Castellucci, Kurt (Sara) Biltz, and Kyle (Stacy) Biltz; 8 grandchildren; 10 great children; sister Margaret Smith.
Calling hours will be Thursday, June 20, at the Arnold Funeral Home in Hartville from 4-6 PM and Friday, June 21 at LifePointe Church of Atwater from 10-10:45 AM. Funeral services will be held Friday in the church at 11 AM with Pastor Lee Kachner officiating. Final resting place is Atwater Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to LifePointe Church of Atwater.
Craig Moore
Craig Moore, a beloved member of the Aurora community, passed away recently. Craig, along with his brother John, inherited the Moore Farm, which became a haven for local youth. He generously opened the farm to Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and 4-H groups, providing a space for meetings, events, and camping to support Aurora’s young people. Craig’s philanthropic spirit extended beyond the farm. His significant donation to Kiwanis Moore Park funded the pavilion, creating a cherished community space. As a dedicated member of the Moore Trust Board, Craig was instrumental in providing educational assistance to local youth. For several years, Craig hosted Pioneer Days, a memorable fundraiser for the Aurora One Fund. This event was not only a vital fundraiser but also an educational experience enjoyed by families throughout the community. Those who knew Craig recognized his unique spirit. He lived life marching to his own drum, leaving an indelible mark on all who met him. Craig Moore’s legacy of generosity, community service, and individuality will be deeply missed.
