The Grinch and Santa will square off in an epic battle on Dec. 16 at the Palmyra Township fire station, 3956 Route 225 in Diamond.
Whoville Feast attendees may enjoy brunch with Santa, who will arrive at the fire station at 11 a.m. The brunch itself will be ongoing from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Grinch will appear at noon, arriving in an ambulance with his broken heart. He’ll do his best to steal all the food and crash the party.
In addition to Minty Who’s hot cocoa bar, the menu will include Whoville pancakes, Cindy Lou’s bacon, Mayor McGerkle eggs, Mt. Crumpit oatmeal with toppings, Grinch orange juice, Max’s milk and Cheermeister’s coffee.
Kids can write letters to the North Pole and have their pictures taken with the Jolly Old Elf. (No word on whether or not the Grinch will stay still long enough to pose for photos.)
Also during the event, parents may bid on raffle baskets, with proceeds benefiting the Palmyra Fire Department. Anyone interested in donating items for a raffle basket should bring the goodies to the fire station by Dec. 11. Call 330-654-4098, ext. 214 or option 1, to arrange delivery.
Tickets for Palmyra’s Whoville Feast are $10 for adults and $6 for kids ages 5-12. There is no charge for children age 5 and under.
