Holiday sign-ups are now open! You can call Kent Social Services or Ravenna Center of Hope between 9am-3pm Monday through Friday to register your family. Registration includes food boxes for both Thanksgiving and Christmas, as well as financial assistance for toys for children 0-13.
The Friends of Kent Free Library will hold their fall book sale October 14 - 16 in the library basement. For sale will be books, magazines, music CDs, and DVDs for adults and children that have been donated by community and that have been withdrawn from the library’s collection. Enjoy listening to Grady Miller, an Americana and Blues duo based out of Akron. Cathy Grady (formerly Miller) is a songwriter, vocalist, and fiddler, with a wide range of styles and influences. Michael Grady is a guitarist and an award winning songwriter with lyrics that are timely, funny, and engaging. No registration required. All ages are welcome. The concert will be held on the second floor balcony. The Concert Series is generously supported by the Friends of Kent Free Library.
